Spellbreak

Spellbreak was a free-to-play, class-based third-person shooter video game developed by Proletariat for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, released on September 3, 2020. On June 28, 2022, it was announced that Spellbreak would shutdown in early 2023. It was shut down on January 10, 2023.

FEATURES

• COMBINE THE ELEMENTS: Spellbreak is a magic-based battle royale where you and your opponent’s elemental powers interact with eachother.

• OUTPLAY YOUR RIVALS: As a battle royale, the win condition is to be final battlemage (“Breaker”) standing at the end of each match.

MY CONTRIBUTION

As a wide-reaching multiplayer competitive game, Spellbreak needed player report functionality. As a product manager, I worked on the feature’s design and UI/UX for allowing players to report others (in-game and post-game) giving a report reason.
